Walkabout Mini Golf: Dream Foxhunt in Belize, the Play-It-Forward Ambassadorship

Presented by Mighty Coconut & Muy’Ono Resorts

Do you have a dream for a business or creative project you’ve been waiting for a moment to finally make happen? Perhaps you need some time to get away with someone so you can think big thoughts, make big plans, and allow yourself to take that leap? Now could be your time to follow the clues to reach your dream destination…

Muy'Ono Resorts is partnering with Mighty Coconut—the independent entertainment studio behind the global hit game Walkabout Mini Golf ™ —ten years after they formed their team in Belize—to “play it forward” to send someone (and their someone) on The Walkabout Mini Golf: Dream Foxhunt in Belize: a 5-night stay getaway to Hopkins Bay Resort in Belize to turn their creative fantasy into a reality, and to provide ambassadorship services to Mighty Coconut and Muy’Ono Resorts.

Never Stop Belizin’

For Mighty Coconut, it all started a decade ago… in Belize. In October of 2012, Lucas and Christina Martell invited a group of animators to travel to a small island off the coast of Belize to take part in a tropical animation retreat. When we finally came home six weeks later, the award-winning short "The OceanMaker" was almost complete, and Mighty Coconut was born. On that foundational trip, we formed bonds and a vision of who we would become as a studio. Henning Koczy from our team put together the first IRL foxhunt we did as a team on that trip, which later became part of all Walkabout Mini Golf courses. So on the 10th anniversary of this trip where we launched our dream, we wanted to “play it forward” so one of our players could go and realize their own.

How it will work

In October 2022, Mighty Coconut is launching The Walkabout Mini Golf: Dream Foxhunt in Belize creative ambassadorship, which will invite Walkabout Mini Golf players from all over the world to submit 500 words via this form about their dream business or the creative project they want to launch, and why this unique experience would help give them the opportunity to complete their plans and make it happen. The criteria is that the endeavor be something that is rated “E for everyone”, does not compete with nor disparage Walkabout Mini Golf nor Muy'Ono Resorts, and that entrants are willing to talk about in general terms via our respective social media, websites, email lists, and via earned media—while they retain ownership of their ideas completely.
