ATLANTIS UPDATE
UPDATE TROUBLESHOOTING
For users on PCVR here are some support steps that should resolve some of the reported issues.
Try restarting your PC and headset
If you have changed any of the graphic preferences (refresh rate or render resolution), try switching them back to the default/recommended settings
Rift Devices -> (Select headset) -> Graphic Preferences
Verify you have the latest GPU drivers
Depending on type of GPU driver you can upgrade either through GeForce Experience or through AMD
ATLANTIS COURSE UPDATE DETAILS
The Atlantis update represents a major upgrade under the hood, resulting in performance improvements and some of the new features you'll see in Atlantis. Here are the most impactful changes:
This release will require a recent version of the Meta OS. If you have automatic updates turned off, you'll need to turn those back on in your device settings.
Multiplayer will not be backward compatible, so all players in a private room will need to upgrade to the latest Atlantis version.
Resolution Upgrade: Quest 2 players will see a 33% improvement in clarity! If you are manually adjusting the resolution through Sidequest, you'll want to revert that override.
In practice mode, players will automatically advance to the next hole rather than going to the scorecard overview.
If you or a player you know is experiencing difficulty joining a multiplayer game—and that player is updated to the latest version of Walkabout Mini Golf yet still experiencing difficulty, they should try these steps in order, checking to see if it works after each. Make sure the cloud data option is enabled.
In the Meta Quest App, enable the automatic software updates under settings then update the Quest under System > Software Updates. Restart.
Try uninstalling and re-installing Meta Quest App from your phone.
If that doesn’t work, unpair and then re-pair the controllers from the headset.
As a last resort, Factory Reset your Quest.
