CLOSING GENERATIONAL & GEOGRAPHIC GAPS

“Bought headsets for In-laws, my parents and one for our home last Christmas so we could keep in touch. Picked up WMG just prior to Original Gothic release and have loved the game since day one. Hearing my father 'giggle' for the first time was a weird experience... (his second hole in one in a day on Seagull stacks). The excitement he has in his voice when he finds a ball of when he makes a great shot is worth the price of the game alone...We currently play at least a round a week but that ends up being three or four games instead. You folks gave us a world we could escape to during the winter months and while folks had to try and social distance which was hard on everyone, seemed a bit easier because we knew we had access to a place we could meet up with friends and family. Thank you all so very much! Had a friend and my brothers households pick up headsets for WMG alone.

Also, here is a small write up from my mother who helps my pops into and out of the VR experience...

"My husband absolutely loves Walkabout Mini Golf. As a stroke survivor with aphasia (which impacts his reading / writing and processing of information) plus a right side peripheral vision loss... he is still able to really enjoy the social aspect of this game. I will get him set up initially and then he is able to play with others. He will often comment on how amazing and detailed the courses are. He really enjoys the challenges. A stroke survivor often feels more isolated, as not all will comprehend the difficulties a survivor has to live with COVID has made the isolation even more noticeable. Since using the oculus and playing this game in particular he has been able to spend quality time with his sons. Thank you so much for developing so many new courses too. He looks forward to experiencing each new adventure. It has been really awesome to see and hear my son's patience as he walks his dad through new things with the game... like flying over a course and setting up his avatar. With my son's patience my husband has been able to read short instructions, etc. And maneuver through the course challenges. Thanks again to the developer's of this spectacular game.”
