Tournaments are a great way to compete in a fun setting for bragging rights, for charity, etc. You can participate in tournaments others have organized or setup your own. Mighty Coconut does not organize tournaments but we’re happy to have them hosted on our game with the following guidelines to ensure fairness.

We encourage fair, good-faith competitive play between friends and other community members—and want competitors to be able to trust that third-party tournaments are being run fairly and with their original format.

    1. Coconuts aka Walkabout devs

    2. Exclusive rounds, servers with devs, and other VIPs

    3. Official Walkabout prizes

    4. Promotion in-game and on mightycoconut.com 

    5. Promotion on our official social channels and our Discord

    6. Competitor qualifications for future Walkabout World Championship events, titles, in-game, and IRL celebrations.

    • Fill out the Walkabout Mini Golf Recognized Tournament application, and agree to our Tournament Terms of Service

    • Be a good faith partner with Mighty Coconut

    • State in your tournament sign-up and promotion that yours is a “Walkabout Recognized Tournament”

    • Abide by our general Terms of Service and using these rules to run your tournament

    • Not SPAM other communities/servers with promotions

    • Not brand the tournament nor winners in a way that makes it look official or run by Walkabout Mini Golf, including naming “world champions” etcetera.

    • Keep Mighty Coconut updated on when registration opens, when the tournament is beginning, and the winner so we can help celebrate you and them!

    • Not disparage Mighty Coconut, Walkabout Mini Golf, nor members of our team

  • Upon submitting your application if your tournament is selected to be officially recognized you will receive a response to the email you used in your application.

NOTE: 

  • We have a reasonable expectation that tournaments support the players in their community, and we encourage you to route users to our Resources page for more in-depth technical support or related.

  • Any groups organized by players who have violated our Terms of Service and been banned from official Walkabout Mini Golf social channels or the Discord server will not be considered.
