Fiery Water

  • 1.5 oz of gin

  • 1.5 oz of orange-flavored liqueur

  • 1 splash of grenadine syrup

  • water

  • 1 oz of peach schnapps

Fill an old-fashioned glass 1/2 of the way with ice. Then add the gin, triple sec, peach schnapps, and finally fill the remaining space with any tropical flavor sparkling water. Gently stir. Finally, add a dash of grenadine—which will dance to the bottom.

Mocktail adaptation: For the gin, try a non-alcoholic variety and for the schnapps, add 1 teaspoon of a similar flavored extract. Apple juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, or non-alcoholic vanilla extract. Skip the Triple Sec.

Goblin Sauce

  • 2 ounces rye

  • ½ ounce grapefruit juice

  • ¼ ounce raspberry syrup

Shake all ingredients together in a shaker with ice. Shake, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a grapefruit twist.

Mocktail adaptation: Substitute 1 part non-alcoholic vanilla extract and 2 parts water for the rye.

Worm Tea Toddy

  • 6 jasmine green tea bags

  • ¾ cup honey

  • 12 sprigs mint, divided

  • 6 lemons, divided

  • 12 oz. mezcal (optional, with or without worm)

Come inside for a nice cup of tea! Bring 3 quarts of water to a boil in a medium pot. Remove from heat and add tea bags, honey, and 6 mint sprigs. Cover and let sit 8 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, remove tea bags and mint, gently pressing with a spoon to extract as much liquid as possible. Meanwhile, slice 4 lemons in half and squeeze juice into a small bowl. Slice remaining 2 lemons into rounds; remove seeds. Add lemon juice, lemon slices, and remaining 6 mint sprigs to hot toddy. Ladle into mugs and spike with 1 oz. mezcal if desired.

Mocktail adaptation: Try a brand of non-alcoholic tequila or simply exclude!
