Prepare yourself for Widow's Walkabout!!!

THE 7 DEADLY SIPS

DRACULA’S BITE

  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey

  • 1 Sugar Cube

  • 2-3 dashes of Angostura Bitters

  • 1 Blood Orange Peel

  • 1 Dark Cherry (Luxardo)

  • 1 splash of Soda Water

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a mixing glass, muddle sugar, bitters, and a splash of soda water.

  2. Add whiskey and ice.

  3. Shake with the vigor of a poltergeist, until your fingers feel the chill of the grave.

  4. Beseech the potion into a cryptic tumbler, over the largest shard of ice that the glass can bear.

  5. Ignite the Blood Orange peel with the flames of Hades, and express its essence into the concoction.

  6. Rub peel along the inside edge of the glass then cast it into the depths.

  7. Crown your glass with a dark cherry.

  8. Sip but be wary, once you've been bit – there's no going back!

GHOUL’S BLOOD

  • 2 oz Dark Rum

  • 4 oz Cola

  • 1/2 oz Grenadine

  • 1-2 drops of Black Food Coloring

  • 1 Blood Orange Peel

  • Maraschino Cherries

  • Black Sugar

  • Gummy Worms

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wet the rim of the glass with an orange wedge and deviously dip it into the dark, doomed sugar.

  2. Fill a glass with the eerie chill of ice.

  3. Pour in the dark, cold rum over the ice.

  4. Slowly pour in the creepy cola, leaving some space at the top.

  5. Daringly drizzle the grenadine over the top. It will sink to the bottom, creating a 'bloody' effect at the base of the drink.

  6. Add a drop or two of black food coloring and stir slightly for a darker, more ominous feel.

  7. Garnish your malicious masterpiece with a maraschino cherry and feel the gummy worms squirm as you plunge them into the ghoulish glass. Drink up, ghouls and goblins!

WITCHES BREW

  • 1 ½ oz Midori

  • 1 ½ oz Cointreau or Triple Sec

  • 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 1 Small Dry Ice Cub

  • Cocktail Cherries

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pour the Midori, Cointreau, and lemon juice into a cocktail mixing glass (or cocktail shaker).

  2. Add 2 handfuls of regular ice cubes and stir until cold. Strain the drink into a lowball glass. Garnish with a cocktail cherry.

  3. Using tongs (do not touch the dry ice!), add a 1/2-inch to 1-inch chunk of dry ice to the glass, which will sink to the bottom and immediately make a smoking effect. The ice cube will disappear in about 5 minutes. Do not drink the dry ice! Wait until the cube disappears before enjoying your drink (or you can take sips with the dry ice in the bottom).

  4. Warning: never touch the dry ice with your bare hands! Put on goggles and gloves. Use a chisel to break the dry ice into smaller pieces using a screwdriver or ice pick. The ideal size is 1/2-inch to 1-inch chunks that are large enough to sink to the bottom of the drink, but small enough to disappear in a few minutes. Wrap the small chunks in a towel and place them in a cooler with the top off until you’re ready to serve the drinks. Do not place the dry ice in the freezer. Brew, serve, cackle, and enjoy!

CANDY CORN MILKSHAKES

  • 1 Quart Vanilla Ice Cream

  • Orange and Yellow Food Coloring

  • Whipped Cream

  • Spooky Sprinkles & Candy Corn

  • Clear Glass

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Take the ice cream out of the freezer and let it soften for about 20-30 minutes. Spoon 1/3 of the ice cream into a medium bowl. Use orange food coloring, gel or liquid, to color the ice cream orange as desired. Stir well to mix and color.

  2. In another medium bowl, spoon another 1/3 of the ice cream and color it yellow as desired. Stir well to mix and color.

  3. Stir the remaining vanilla ice cream until it is smooth and creamy.

  4. Spoon yellow ice cream into the bottom of a plastic cup, to fill the cup 1/3 full. You may need to wipe the cup down if streaks are in the upper part of the cup from spooning it in. Flatten it out as well as you can, trying to eliminate any air bubbles on the side.

  5. Spoon in orange ice cream on top of the yellow to fill the cup about 2/3 full. Again, wipe down the inside of the cup, if needed, and smooth out the top of the orange ice cream. Top with vanilla ice cream to within 1/4-inch of the top of the cup. Smooth out the top.

  6. Top with whipped cream, Halloween sprinkles, and candy corn! Ta-da, a treat for all tricksters.
